Hey! My name is Adrianna and my nickname is adize (ah-dee-zeh). I’m originally from Poland and am currently based in Perth, Scotland.
I am a professional visual and technical CG artist supervisor specialising in XR content productions, where my main domain of expertise is volumetric video (focused on digital humans), VR and most recently virtual production projects. I am interested in both artistic and technical aspects of visual arts, including filmmaking, video postproduction, computer-generated graphics and VFX. I am always looking for ways to improve and facilitate the workflows for the artists I collaborate with. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Computing for Graphics and Animation at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, Scotland in 2015 and graduated with an MA in Digital Effects degree at NCCA Bournemouth University in 2016. I have also completed an MA degree in Film focusing on screenwriting and directing at Raindance Film School in London (under De Montfort University Leicester).
I am a highly motivated and organised professional, with experience with team management, task allocation and assignment as well as recruiting and training CG artists. I also have excellent organisational, communication, and project management skills and vast previous experience in training and mentoring. I possess a thorough understanding of the visual effects processes and the ability to interpret the artistic briefs from the project’s producers, supervisors and clients. I am also keen to understand the technical requirements and limitations of new VFX and CG pipelines and I have the ability to develop efficient workflows and identify additional tools required in collaboration with other technical artists and software developers. I have a proven ability to ensure artists’ work is of a high standard on both technical and creative levels.
Besides professional skills, I am an open-minded, empathetic person with an interest in psychology and self-development. I am a person who values good communication and listening to others. I believe that those values contribute to an honest, safe and open space and promote a healthy working environment.
Outside work, you can most likely find me camping or at a concert or a music festival, as music is my big passion and Florence + The Machine are my favourite band. I run a Polish fan club of the band and with them I organise a lot of events supporting Florence’s music, run competitions, charity events and do creative projects such as making videoclips and short films. I’m a keen Glastonbury festival goer, where I also work every year and help recycling team at the festival. I love caring about our planet, and feel best in the outdoors and out in the nature, that’s why currently I am based in the beautiful country of Scotland.
